Refund Policy

Refund and cancellation terms for buy.attestlayer.com only.

This policy applies only to direct-buyer purchases and subscriptions made on buy.attestlayer.com. It does not govern partner-managed programs, registry access, verifier access, or any written enterprise or partner agreement that states more specific commercial terms.

Summary. Refund eligibility depends on the purchased offer, checkout terms, Product Terms, whether work has started, whether output was issued, whether credits were consumed, and whether a specific failure/refund condition applies. FAIL consumes 0 PASS issuance credits on credit-based offers unless the checkout terms state otherwise. Card processing fees, third-party fees, custom work, completed packet work, issued outputs, and used credits may be non-refundable unless a signed agreement states otherwise.

1. Core billing rule

  • Credits: FAIL = US$0 credits. PASS burns 1 credit only at issued Verify PASS. Buyer-safe resubmit: each FAIL includes 1 free resubmit within 7 days.
  • If we miss the stated delivery SLA after PASS, credits auto-return + 10% bonus credits.
  • If we cannot deliver due to our fault, you may request a full refund within 7 days.
  • Delivery is considered complete when download links are provided on the success page and/or by email.
  • Hosted links expire after 30 days for Activation purchases (links expire; automatic deletion); download copies are your responsibility. Monthly Coverage subscribers retain access to prior deliverables for the duration of their active subscription.
  • PASS gate: if an upload FAILs validation, buyer-safe resubmit policy applies (1 free resubmit per FAIL within 7 days). Delivery SLA starts at PASS.
  • Monthly Coverage billing model: Self-serve Monthly Coverage is billed automatically by card. Larger recurring agreements may use custom billing (invoice, wire, annual) through an approved billing path.

2. Activation purchases

  • Activation purchases are prepaid purchases for direct-buyer use on buy.attestlayer.com.
  • Before credits activate, a refund may be reviewed where payment was duplicated, over-collected, or accepted in error.
  • After credits activate, Activation purchases are generally non-cash-refundable except where this policy, applicable law, or a written AttestLayer exception says otherwise.
  • If AttestLayer fails to deliver due to its own fault after PASS, you may request a full refund review within 7 days.

Monthly Coverage cancellation and refund clarification

  • Cancel anytime before the next billing date.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No prorated refund for partial months.
  • Credits remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Unused monthly credits do not roll over into the next month.

3. Refund request procedure

Send refund or billing questions to billing@attestlayer.comwith the buyer email address, order or invoice identifier, payment date, and a short explanation of the issue. AttestLayer may request additional information reasonably needed to validate the request and prevent misuse.

4. Boundaries

This page is specific to buy.attestlayer.com direct-buyer transactions. Partner-managed deals, reserved-capacity programs, and negotiated enterprise arrangements are governed by the written terms of the applicable surface or agreement.
