How do I forward the output internally or to a reviewer?
How to share an issued AttestLayer evidence packet with internal stakeholders and external reviewers.
Output formats
Each issued PASS packet ships in three formats: a reviewer-friendly PDF, a ZIP bundle containing the manifest and signed components, and a public verifier URL.
Forwarding internally
Internal stakeholders can be added to the workspace through onboarding or access workflow. They can also receive the PDF and ZIP by email if they are not workspace users.
Forwarding to a reviewer
Send the reviewer the PDF and ZIP, plus the public verifier URL. The reviewer authenticates the packet using the public verifier or the offline verify kit (no AttestLayer account is required on the reviewer side). See the Reviewer pack for the reviewer-side walkthrough.
What the reviewer can verify
- The manifest (SHA-256 of every file in the kit).
- The signed receipt (Ed25519 signature).
- The verification path against the public verifier.
- The submitting workspace identity.
