Help — eligibility and risk checks

What eligibility or risk checks does AttestLayer run before activation?

How AttestLayer reviews intake before workspaces are provisioned, especially for invoice / procurement-first paths.

All paths

For every purchase, AttestLayer confirms that the named buyer matches the billing contact, that the requested offer scope is consistent with the supplied workspace details, and that the submission is not in violation of the Acceptable use policy.

Card-checkout paths

Card-checkout offers (Activation, Growth Coverage, Buyer Proof Packs) generally start after payment clears and required intake is complete. AttestLayer may still pause activation for clarification where intake details are inconsistent.

Billing-review paths

Coverage-10 and higher, Strategic / Portfolio Coverage, Enterprise Deal Rail, and Founding Coverage all flow through billing review. AttestLayer reviews volume, billing route, procurement requirements, and (for Founding Coverage) founding-customer eligibility in writing before activation. Submission is not acceptance.

What AttestLayer does not do

AttestLayer does not perform background checks on the named buyer, does not score the buyer’s creditworthiness, and does not run a generalized fraud-screening service. These statements describe AttestLayer’s own intake-review steps, not buyer-facing risk products.
